Cid´s natural habitat

Almost all of the images you are about to see have been taken on an inactive part of the railyard of the City of Weyhe/ Germany. Bahnhof Kirchweyhe was a very large freight terminal in the vicinity of the city of Bremen. The station served as a major hub for trains bound for and coming from Bremen with it´s large overseas ports.

If you keep an eye on the left side of the image above and walk past the light pole, that´s where these images have been taken. I would like to stress the fact that during it´s active service life these rails were most likely not as rusty as they appear on the images. Nevertheless they may serve as inspiration.
