Bi-29 as weathering reference for Cid-27
Weathering references for DAS WERK Cid-27. These ain't no Cid-27 but brothers and cousins. The guy flying that dark Grey stripe with a t-section is a Bi-29. It's a very similar car to the DAS
WERK model as it entered production in the late 1920s, just as his slightly younger brother. The other two are even younger. Note the beige
streaking effect on top of bleached Green. Rip, copy, screenshot...I dont care. Publicly available resources.
Bi-29. Cid-27´s slighty younger brother
Cid-27s slightly younger brother, the Bi-29. Main difference is that they got rid of the open platforms in order to increase passenger comfort. At least that´s my understanding. So, on the upper
part we are looking a lot of tones of Green which are bleached and covered with rain stains in Beige, Grey and Black.
For the lower parts we are looking at gloss Black, combined with rusty patches and all sorts of accumulations of rust and dust. Should be fun to play with.
Unknown family member, closely related though
I dont know the exact type, but the weathering pattern is remarkable. He´s walking on three legs, unlike the Bi-29 and the Das Werk Cid-27 model.
Totally different guy. Type unknown.
Kiddo has some interesting stuff goin down his roof. Don´t you think? Totally different guy, but of the same era. It´s a baggage/freight car.
Some surroundings
Dont be mistaken by the amount of rust here. This is an inactive site. Like an open air museum. Some of this is operational and every now and then they´re running this stuff and you can jump onboard and go places. The modern fright cars are property of a modern active line and the space is rented out to them by the "museum-line" to be used as a parking spot.
