The construction is pretty straightforward. You start by connecting the rear plates with the base and you raise them vertical supports after that. You have lil sets of parts with indicators on it. These would be used for the steps. You may start on the bottom or work from the top. Easy.

Here is how you connect the lower steps using a pin. Everything falls into place...
