The following photo is one of the most brightening ones when it comes to the construction features of Russian fighter designs. This picture is the only photographic documentation on how the woods were applied, as far as I am aware of. It tells us that we have planks which were applied diagonal. Its up to the modeler to interpret the picture and to plot the course of the planks under the color. Thanks to Wolfgang Henrich for showing these pictures to us.
